Dental Professionals has been an integral part of the
Germantown Community Scholarship Fund. Drs. Albiero, Templin, Jakusz and
Zambon have placed the Germantown Community Scholarship Fund as one of their
priorities. They value the mission of the Scholarship Fund helping the youth
of our community financially so they can achieve their goals through
education.
They have given to GCSF not only by donating items,
sponsorships, attending and purchasing items at the annual dinner auction,
but also by giving of time and talents. Dr.
Thomas Albiero has served as past president and then as a member of the
committee for over 20 years.
Dr. Cynthia Jakusz recognized what a fantastic organization the
Germantown Community Scholarship Fund is when she received a scholarship
from the committee as a past Germantown High School Graduate.
Since she completed her education in 2002, Dr. Jakusz came back to
the community and has shared her time as a committee member.
Many team members at Dental
Professional have also served on the committee over the years and several of
the children of staff members have been fortunate enough to have also
received scholarships from the organization.
Dental Professionals, Drs. Albiero, Templin, Jakusz and
Zambon live and work here in Germantown and support their community in many
different ways. They feel there
is no better way than to invest in our community by supporting our youth and
their education.

Receiving a GCSF scholarship gave me the opportunity
to begin my college career without the stress of worrying about how I would
pay for some of the most basic costs associated with attending a university.
Having my text books and other essentials paid for allowed me to focus on
academics and adjust to a new phase of my life more easily.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at UWM and
spend time volunteering at UWM, Milwaukee Health Services, Inc.
High School Students
GCSF created the Scholarship Planner to help high school students prepare for scholarship applications. All incoming High School Freshman will receive a Scholarship Planner with their registration materials. Finding ways to pay for higher education can be a daunting task. GCSF hopes to simplify the process of completing general scholarship applications and GCSF Scholarship applications by providing students with a planner designed to record academics, in and out of school activities, co-op participation, volunteerism, and employment history. Printing of the Scholarship Planners was funded by Dental Professionals. Copies of the planner are available in the Germantown High School Guidance office, at Dental Professionals and on this Web site.
